Denton LULAC Council 4366
The national mission of LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) is to advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic population in the United States.

Who We Are
Since 1981, the LULAC Denton Council 4366 has worked tirelessly to empower our community and ensure equitable opportunities for all. Each year, we set ambitious goals that guide our efforts to create meaningful change in Denton and beyond. We are 100% volunteer-based, from our board members to our general membership, and rely on the dedication of our community to keep this mission alive.

Gonzalez School for Youn Children, named after Popo and Lupe Gonzalez, two longtime Denton LULAC members and advocates for public education. Click here to learn more: Gonzalez
Rodriguez Middle School, named for Dr. Rudy and Rosemary Rodriguez, two longtime Denton LULAC members and community advocates. Dr. Rodriguez was a former professor at TWU and UNT, and former Denton ISD School Board Trustee, and is regarded as a pioneer for bilingual education with more than 40 years of service.
